So I don't really do a ton of landscape stuff, but this is just such a beautiful view, I couldn't resist posting it! This is the way that Dorian and I come back from Quesnel through Little Fort, maybe a little slower, but way more scenic than the highway!!

As per our "rules" of this challenge, Dave and I are permitting ourselves to use any old photos that have not been used anywhere else previously. This is probably 2 years old now but it is still one of my favorites, I love hands, and the shapes created by the open fingers.

So this is the first of 364 photos to come of a one year commitment I made with a fellow photographer friend Dave Bennewith. Great day spent with Tessa at Mission Park Greenway. Went there to get 3 shots: close-up, mid-field, and landscape. Found the landscape a bit tricky as the area is mainly in a ravine. Here are the three that made the cut!

I don't do a lot of sports so you won't see much of this, but recently I did have the pleasure of trying my hand at some football shots! I went to watch the Mission Bruins, and from the sidelines I was able to capture some of the action closeup!

Deep Cove
Some more shots from earlier this year when Dad and I went to Deep Cove to visit Great Uncle Bernard. I had never been there before so it was a pleasant surprise!! So beautiful and tranquil, I didn't want to leave!

Night Shooting

Some night shots from around Kelowna. The top one is actually the light trails from a plane taking off. This required a lot of planning and even more waiting!! But the result was great, and this is still one of my favorite technical shots.

Some old jewellery I have from my Granny Sheila and Granny Molly. Always wanted a special shot like this so I can always remember. Taken with natural light from above, edited in photoshop.
Just a fun shot of the clock downtown Kelowna on Bernard St. Obviously its been played with!! But I think its a fun shot. This was another one in the series I gave to Jon Lemon for use on his site.

Wonderful bride I had the pleasure of working with last summer. Mimi and her husband Rob were married at Summerhill Winery in Kelowna, Summer 2008. Was a wonderful day, and this was by far my favorite shot of the day!!

Ok so after some convincing from friends and colleagues I have decided to start a blog!!! I hope to have a website up and running early next year, thanks to my friend Jon Lemon, and a blog is always a good addition. I have been extremely busy at school for Digital Photography in Kelowna. This past semester was all about lighting for studio environments, history of photography, and much much more. Have been making some fantastic friends at school and cant believe I am almost half way done!!! That means that soon I will be out among the sharks, trying to find my spot. But for now I am just really looking forward to Christmas and a BREAK!!! My brain feels ready to either implode or explode...or both! Anyway here are a few recent fave shots of mine. Hope you enjoy and stay tuned for more!
